Opened 1997 HAAD YAO DIVERS was the first Dive Center on the west coast of Koh Phangan and one of the island's pioneers. At that time Koh Phangan was famous for its Fullmoon Parties on Haadrin beach but unknown for the beauty of its unspoiled reefs.

Unlike its sister islands Koh Samui and Koh Tao, Koh Phangan is still unknown for divers, even though the most famous divesites like Sailrock and Angthong National Marinepark are nearest to Koh Phan-gan. Our divers benefit from shorter journey times and being first to arrive at the sites.

HAAD YAO DIVERS started as a small operation on Haad Yao beach with only one PADI Instructor and Divemaster. Today we are a PADI awarded 5 Star Instructor Development Dive Resort with an international team of enthusiastic and highly qualified PADI Instructors and Dive Masters from England, France, Switzerland and Germany. They are known to go out of their way to make every dive a safe and enjoyable experience you won't forget. It's this friendly, personal service that has become a hallmark of HAAD YAO DIVERS.

We still belong to the smaller dive operators on the island which deal in quality rather than quantity and we know our divers by name. Run by European management we are committed to western quality and high standards.

As the only Go ECO Operator on Koh Phangan we are committed to environmentally responsible business practices, providing our divers with dive experiences that enhance visitor awareness of our aquatic environment. We are also a member of Green Fins Thailand and support their "coral monitoring" initiatives to raise the environmental awareness for coral reefs globally.
